High Altitude Critical Skill Training (CST)
In addition to extreme technology, medical and filming; the High Altitude CST will focus on mountaineering skills applicable on Everest and K2 as well as on lower peaks such as Denali or Mount Rainier. Instructors will adjust to your present level of climbing experience. Preparation training starts Friday Jan 16 at 9.00 am in a classroom setting. Full day mountain pass expedition simulation on Saturday. Wrap-up on Sunday with four rotating workshops.

Location
The Jan 16-18 CST will be held in the small former gold mining town of Breckenridge at 9600 feet (2926m). Expedition Simulation will take place at around 12000 feet. Breckenridge offers some of the best skiing in US and you will find 5 other major ski areas including Vail within a 40 min drive.

    Tina Sjogren
    Founder and Editor-In-Chief Explorersweb.com, the world's largest expedition news website. Tina is the first woman to do "The Three Poles" (Everest, South Pole and North Pole) and the first female to ski unsupported to the North Pole. Tina has sailed across the Atlantic.
    Tom Sjogren
    Founder of award winning HumanEdgeTech, featured in books and magazines, including the front page of New York Times The Circuit. Tom has skied to both poles back to back and without support, climbed Everest and sailed from Europe to South America.
    Andrew Cull
    Founder of Remote Medical, a market leader with over seventy employees across North America, conducting operations and training on seven continents. Working as a paramedic in some of the remote regions of the globe for the last eleven years, Andrew also has professional experience in mountain guiding, disaster relief, and tactical medicine.
    Tom Milne
    Professional mountain guide since 1999 who has led almost 30 international expeditions including multiple Vinson summits. Tom is a certified WEMT/MPIC, has extensive AMGA and Avalanche training, and currently generates risk management and medical support systems for clients worldwide.
    Michael Brown
    Founder of Serac Adventure films. Carried the first High Definition camera to the summit of Everest. Winner of three national Emmy Awards and over forty National and International Film Festival Awards, Michael is 4-time Everest summiteer.
    David D'Angelo
    Co-owner of Serac Adventure films. On production teams for prime time television shows such as Storm Chasers (Discovery), Toughest Race on Earth: Iditarod (Discovery) and World's Toughest Fixes (National Geographic). David is Everest summiteer.
    Luiz Benitez
    6-time Everest summiteer and one of the guides on blind climber Erik Weihenmayer's 2001 summit. Summited Aconcagua 11 times, and other "Seven Summit" peaks 16 times. Certified wilderness EMT and employed by Outward Bound professional, Luis is to be featured in an upcoming book and BBC documentary about Tibet.
